This year Solidfloor was once again prominent at Domotex in Hannover with an entirely revamped stand and lots of new products. Solidfloor presented itself in accordance with the revised conceptual approach: division into style groups. Furthermore, Solidfloor introduced an all-new collection called ‘Pure Design’ and a variety of new products were added to the ‘Vintage’ and ‘new Classics’ collections.
NEW: 4 unique Vintage floors
The Vintage collection saw the addition of four new items: Jura, Kinabalu, Caucasus and Ural. These stylish floors are particularly unique due to their polished knots. In addition to this, all four floors are brushed, hand-scraped, smoked and have distressed edges. The Jura and Ural are natural oiled and the Kinabalu and Caucasus are white oiled. The last of these, the Caucasus, has the added feature of being whitewashed. The floorboards are all 220 cm long, 22 cm wide and 15 mm thick. All four floors are also FSC-certified.
All-new ‘Pure Design’ collection
Completely new within the Solidfloor programme is the ‘Pure Design’ collection. A modern collection of floors that in terms of colour is identical to the Black and White collection. The difference lies in the tile pattern. The Pure Design boards each comprise 4 tiles measuring 60 x 30.5 cm. The Pure Design floors are available in the five current uni colours Pearl White, Almond, Folkestone, Graphite and Charcoal.
new Classics collection expands
The classic new Classics collection has been extended with an Old Dutch pattern (Harvard), a herringbone (St. Paul’s) and a floor consisting of three different widths (Dundalk). This means that from now on the collection comprises three different patterns, all of which are available in the same four colours. This renders new Classics a complete collection of classic patterns.
